Sqn.Ldr Anthimos Alexandros Tsirigotis, Ph.D. has served in the Greek Air Force since 1996 and he has a promising early record of research publications on the changing character of war in the Information Age with a specific interest in cyberwarfare. He has served as air defence officer in different operational bases and he has also been personally accountable for the safe and effective operation of a Radar station of 50 Regular personnel. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and European Studies (University of Piraeus) and in 2016, he completed his Ph.D. at the University of Reading. His research monograph on how cyberwarfare has changed British defence and security policy-making was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2017. His aim is to be actively involved in research-led policy-making and in academia.
