Dr. Konstantinos G. Ioannou received his diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the year 1998 from the University of Patras. In 2004 he completed his PhD in the same department, in the subject of wireless communications networks.
From 1999 to 2007 he worked as Adjunct Assistant Professor in Higher Education Institutions in the subject of computer science and communications, at undergraduate and postgraduate education. From 2004 to 2006, he had worked as a Technical Specialist Advisor to the Ministry of Public Order, for C4I project.
Since 2006, he is working at the Ministry of Interior as a Specialist in the subject of Network Management and Operational Systems. He is currently Head of Cybersecurity Department and Coordinator of the National Network Security Incident Management of the Ministry of the Interior.
Since 2019, he is Member of the Board of Directors in the Center for Security Studies (KEMEA).
He is author of more than 70 papers in journals and conferences
