Eirini Cheila is Professor of International Politics and was Head of the Department of International, European and Area Studies at Panteion University (Athens) from 20012-2015. She was Visiting Professor at Paris II Panthéon–Assas from 2010 to 2011 and a Stanley J. Seeger Visiting Fellow at Princeton University in 1996. She is currently a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies at GWU’s Elliott School of International Affairs.  She has written extensively in Greek, French and English in the fields of Foreign Policy Analysis and Crisis Management and Multilateral Diplomacy. Her most recent book is “International Crises toward the 21st Century. Questions of Theory and Management” (in Greek).
