Supervisor Police Reporter
TV channel OPEN BEYOND, CNN.gr, Greece

Mina Karamitrou is the supervisor police reporter of the TV channel OPEN BEYOND and the online newsletter site CNN.gr. Since 1993 she has been covering the police reportage at all its width: from criminal cases of the common penal law to terrorism ones. In 1994 she became the main police reporter of the MEGA Channel, covering not only the news broadcasts, but the newsletters as well, with her reports and revelations for homicides, robberies, arsons, terrorist attacks and organized crime cases, which deeply affected the public opinion at long term. For a couple of years period she has instructed police reportage at the oldest private faculty for journalism studies "Professional Journalism Lab", from which she has graduated herself. She has worked on news sites and newspapers. In 2014, she was honored by the "Botsi Foundation" for her distinguished journalistic career.
